Happy Selfy Wednesday! - Sunny Riverdale Morning version

Wake up this morning, seeing a different view in front of my eyes… Super refreshing! Thank you my dearest H, for having me at your place last night :))) I’m heading out to my garden from now. Sweet, it takes only 20 min walk!! Really nice!!!

Have a happy smiley Wednesday everyone!

Love & flowers,

Hana

In bright white snow, when everything sleeps.

And hope has left you lonely.

When all you ever remember about summer is how it ended.

I send hope back to you, wherever you are.

I hope you remember all the people you still have time to be.

I hope the little things in your life inspire you to do big things with it.

I hope you remember that summer comes every year and that the sun, is still sweet.

I hope you learn to hope again.

I, still, hope.

Love comes to those who still hope even though they’ve been disappointed, to those who still believe even though they’ve been betrayed, to those who still love even though they’ve been hurt before.

I keep thinking you already know. I keep thinking I’ve sent you letters that were only ever written in my mind.

Summer of Lyonsville - Part 2

Isn’t she beautiful? A lady in the first photo, smiling in a lovely maple tree forest. That’s my dearest friend, Mayumi. She’s a giver, everyone’s friend or sister  :)  I received so much of love from her and I am totally grateful. She always lift my heavy heart so easily! Amazing.

oh, those tubes behind her in the woods…Those are there to collect sap from maple trees. Yup, Janine & John from Lyonsville Sugarhouse are taking care of them. They own a lovely farm just across the street from Mayumi’s place. I got their extra dark maple syrup and loving it!!! Cows, chickens, pigs, cats and dogs… they all live in a happy farm land! YES :D   So, without a doubt… we enjoyed fresh milk & eggs while we stayed there…Mmm Mmm, goooooooooood :)))))))

BTW, Mayumi is a great chef. I love her homemade soup…the second photo is a yellow carrot soup. Really, REALLY yummy… Beets & cucumber salad was so refreshing, too. She simply loves to cook and is very talented to create her own recipe. She also makes her own ‘Miso’ paste from a scratch. On the sixth photo, she’s holding a year & half old Miso. The smell was incredible… :9  The last pic is one of our breakfast meal… Eating outside in a fresh air was really blissful. Look at me on the eighth photo…I’m smiling with a great joy!!

Anyways…fun time always flies away, doesn’t it?! Looking forward to visit there again next summer!!

Have a happy long weekend everyone :)

Much love & gratitude,

Hana.xoxo

Summer of Lyonsville. - Part 1

So, this is the place I stayed in Lyonsville 2weeks ago. It’s between New Paltz and Woodstock. The house is surrounded by Maple tree forest. My friend, Mayumi, takes care of this summer house since the owner is too busy to deal with the maintenance. Lucky, yes? and lucky me, too :D  She arranges wild flowers freshly picked from outside, then only uses local organic products for cooking! Mmm Mmm…. Her warm hospitality heals everybody’s body & soul. I am totally grateful for all the love I received from her. Thank you, Mayumi!!! I love you <3

I’ll post other photos on the part 2. I have a bunch of photos from the trip…Let me sort things out and arrange them, por favor. I’ve been having busy weekends so far and couldn’t get a chance to do it until now.

Hope everyone is having a great summer. Enjoy a kiss from summer breeze while it’s still here …”Don’t let your mind stop you from having a good time!” Who said this? Of course…Jason. ha ;p  Ok… My crazy working days ahead… Oy vey…

Namaste,

Hana

And when I asked you how you’d been, I meant I missed you more than I’ve ever missed anything before.
